An entertaining - if uneven - supernatural Italian horror.

Threatened by rapid flooding on a stormy night, a group of strangers find themselves stranded at the large house of a recently deceased witch named Sheila Marlowe.

But after a playful séance ends abruptly, the visitors begin to question...

Could they have really roused the restless spirit of their dead host, a force intent on possessing the living and utilizing them as instruments of murder?

Or could criminal thug Granger be terrorizing the group? (You again, Farley?)

Whatever the truth may be, something is most definitely creeping in the dark...

A rather old school haunting horror, this is pleasingly well made and manages some fun atmosphere. None of it is particularly classic, but Granger's piano ditty is utterly beautiful and there's mood and atmosphere to spare.

Also known as Shadows in the Dark.

Italian: Qualcosa striscia nel buio.
