A busy Colorado ski resort prepares for its special 50th Anniversary season spectacular: a roster filled with energizing sports, friendly contests, familiar friends...and a shaggy-haired behemoth ripping apart the skiers one by one!

While resort owner Sidney worries that the controversy will destroy business, slopes champion Svenson, wife Mimieux and friend Logan vow to hunt down and kill the dangerous snow devil before it slashes again.

Owing its basic vibe to the popular 'terrorizing creature' subgenre of the '70s, Snowbeast benefits from game cast performances and a restrained use of seeing the titular guy (until the relatively suspenseful climax when carefully edited shots prove surprisingly effective).

Best scene: the snow monster brazenly attacks the annual Snow Queen coronation at the local gymnasium...a frenzied mass hysteria ensues!
