Without warning, nuns in a convent begin to experience stigmata: bleeding mouths, random acts of stabbing, and more!

A new priest, Father Valerio (De Mejo) is brought in to investigate the bizarre events and uncovers a secret long buried, but now unavoidably unearthed.

Alternately odd and hilarious, this mixed bag - full of screaming, out of control nuns - comes courtesy of director Bruno Mattei, who did the craptastic opuses Hell of the Living Dead (1980) and Rats: Night of Terror (1984).

An outrageous performance by Stoppi as the guarded Mother Superior dominates the action. The whole would-be transgressive silliness must be seen to be believed.
