No Place to Hide (1981)
95 min.
Directed by John Llewellyn Moxey.
With Kathleen Beller, Mariette Hartley, Keir Dullea, Arlen Dean Snyder.
When an art student is stalked by someone who whispers "soon, Amy soon," she thinks she is about to be murdered.

But is it really happening, or is it all in Amy's head?

We won't tell, but we will say this mild thriller yields some fun results, particularly in the surprise ending.

The doomed lead in this solid stalker flick is convincingly played by Kathleen Beller (remember her as Kirby on TV's Dynasty?), with Hartley as stepmom and Dullea as psychiatrist providing believable support.

Fans already familiar with Beller would also do well by her turn in the modest stalker Are You in the House Alone? (1978).

Director John Llewellyn Moxey did numerous other memorable telethrillers including A Taste of Evil (1971) and The Strange and Deadly Occurrence (1974).
