This inept and humdrum exploitation from 1985 fails to horrify.
In a rural Texas town, a woman is raped by a rough group of bikers and construction workers.
But the oh-so-tough thugs discover they got more than they bargained for.
Soon, an anonymous killer, wearing a motorcycle helmet, dressed in camo and toting an automatic nail gun, stalks and murders the clan one by one!
Only in Texas.
Who could the madman be? Is he (or she) a vigilante avenging the brutal rape? Or are the murders unrelated? Do you care?
A deceptively fun title yields a no frills bore which has literally no tension.
Sometimes the confines of a low budget can yield surprisingly good acting, or an unexpected creepy atmosphere, or both. Well, this isn't one of those times.
Indeed, Nail Gun Massacre makes 1978's Toolbox Murders and 1979's Driller Killer look like Casablanca and Citizen Kane by comparison.
The one liners here are particularly grimace-inducing.
Beware: it's lifeless drivel by any standard.
