An interesting Italian-Spanish made zombie flick.

Travelling the English countryside, George and Edna (played by Ray Lovelock and Christine Galbo) discover a terrible secret in a small town.

It seems an agricultural device uses radiation waves to kill off pesky insects.

Unfortunately, it's also causing recently buried humans to come back to life! And it seems the undead stiffs are hungry too...for fresh flesh!

With echoes of Romero's Night of the Living Dead (1968), this one starts slowly and builds to a gruesome climax in a morgue.

With good special effects by Giannetto De Rossi, this one's a solid entry from Spanish director Grau (he also did the prior year's The Legend of Blood Castle).

Features a hammy performance from Arthur Kennedy as an overzealous detective who believes the two wayward transients are somehow responsible for all the trouble.

Also known as Don't Open the Window.

Spanish: No Profanar el Sueno de los Muertos and Italian: Non si deve profanare il sonno dei morti.
