A small town is plagued by a series of bizarre murders: adult males in normal physical condition are found inexplicably dead...and in various states of undress, to boot!

Seems the men were in the middle of sexual activity when they mysteriously expired.

Meanwhile, the female head entomologist (Ford) at a local research facility has discovered a way to use radiation to turn human females into super queen bees: black-eyed killers who dispatch their mates at the height of sexual passion.

And her fem-sect army is growing, one by one.

This enjoyably kinky midnight horror gets kudos for knowing exactly what it is: a low budget B terror buoyed by a surprisingly clever script and freaky setups (check out the kooky 'woman-to-bee transformation scenes').

Long legged Ford is watchably pretty and seems to relish her devilish role as the maniacal doctor.

Won't appeal to all tastes, but for those who enjoy an occasional trek down the offbeat path, this is worth a look.
