Genre director Pete Walker (the man who gave us The Flesh and Blood Show and The Confessional, among others) gives us this utterly fun-filled British horror.
This one tells of psychotic matriarch (and her accommodating hubby) and their savage murdering sprees.
After an initial killing run - and a subsequent imprisonment for 15 years - the diabolical duo are released and get back to work again, aided and abetted now by their two young daughters.
Good acting by all, a disarming atmosphere, shocking gore and an interesting closing sequence highlight this one.
Also known as Once Upon a Frightmare, this is excellent from beginning to end.
Worth seeing for Sheila Keith's tour de force performance alone.
