"If Jason still haunts you, you're not alone!"

It's 10 years after the events of the last installment. All grown up and mentally disturbed, Tommy Jarvis (Shepherd) takes solace at Pinehurst, a secluded halfway house for troubled teens.

Soon poor Tommy finds he's still tormented by visions of bloody Jason Voorhees...especially when bodies begin piling up for real!

But Tommy's so confused...could all the mayhem just be in his mind? Is Jason really back from the dead? Or is someone else doing the killing? Is someone trying to drive him insane?

This fifth entry in the Friday the 13th series is generally uninspired, stilted by lots of quick edit finishes and sunk by a rather weakly, constipated storyline.

Note: no viewers will be seated during Violet's climactic New Wave robot dance sequence. Absolutely no one.
