| This low key giallo from director Luciano Ercoli is not as strong as either his Death Walks at Midnight (1972) or Death Walks on High Heels (1971), but is nevertheless a solid and well acted thriller.
Beautiful housewife Minou (Lassandar) is assaulted on the beach by a mysterious stranger (Andreu) who informs her that her husband is a murderer.
Disbelieving, she attempts to ignore the ominous message, but soon finds herself drawn into a tangled web of sexual blackmail, deceptive intrigue...and pervasive doubts about whether she's married to a cold blooded killer.
Whatever truths Minou will uncover, it won't be pretty.
Lovingly photographed and featuring a good supporting cast (Andreu delivers a wonderful, menacing performance), this doesn't necessarily break any new ground for the genre, but is a class act all around.
