Based on the H.P. Lovecraft short story, this tells of warped aristocrat Wilbur Whateley (Stockwell) who's out to open the floodgates of hell so that all the ancient gods of evil can cross over from the land of the undead into our land of the living.

But in order to do that, Whateley needs to get his hands on the powerful Necromonicon, the book of the undead.

He's also got his eyes on pretty Nancy (Dee), and plans to use her chaste body in a bizarre, related mating ritual with the demons! Poor Dee, she can't ever catch a break.

A vaguely interesting premise is only half carried to execution, but still made watchable by good performances from Dee and a twittery, creepy Stockwell.
