Another low rent drive-in horror from the director of Don't Look in the Basement (1972).
As a child, young Amanda witnessed her mother's brutal murder by a knife-wielding psycho - a marauding killer who was never caught.
Now, after a 13 year absence, Amanda (Bracken) returns to her small Texas hometown to look after her ill grandmother.
But someone is watching her...spying on her...making obscene phone calls...someone connected to the terrible tragedy of her past.
This simple stalk pic is generally okay, but is weakened by a meandering pace that alternately picks up steam and then pulls back without reason.
Although laidback, it's watchable, due to lead Bracken who delivers a good performance as the harrassed blondie. Not to mention the whole thing boasts at least one fun mallet-clubbing death.
Also known as Don't Hang Up.
