Beautiful Anna (Lollibrigida) heads up a chicken farm along with her husband Marco (Trintignant).

But adulterous Marco is having an affair with their assistant Gabrielle (Aulin) and the two are looking for any way to start a new life together...will it be over Anna's dead body?

Mega strange sub-plotlines (headless chicken, anyone?) function as numerous detours to a predictable ending.

But we have to admit, getting there is so much fun. Kooky, mesmerizing and quite enjoyable.
