Ultra dumb horror from director Wes Craven.
Kid genius Paul Conway (Laborteaux) builds an actual robot named 'BB' and then meets winsome next door neighbor Samantha (Swanson).
When Samantha dies at the hands of her cruel father, Paul decides to use BB's microchip 'brain' and reanimate his dead squeeze.
The implausible plan works (surprise!), but soon Sam's wires are crossed and she becomes a killing machine. Literally.
Highlights include a death by basketball (don't ask) and mindnumbing dialogue. Poor Laborteaux (Albert from TV's long running Little House on the Prairie) is saddled with an asinine storyline which Craven can't even begin to make remotely terrifying.
If you're drunk, have half a brain, or just pride yourself on enjoying horrible horrors, you might like it. Otherwise, skip it.
