A plowboy discovers the fleshy remains of an odd creature who just happens to be Satan. The local town teenagers then begin behaving strangely, forming a sort of cult and killing off villagers as sacrifices to their possessor god. Beautifully set in Cornwall 1670, vividly shot, wonderfully acted and featuring some grisly deaths, this one is a true little sleeper.
