| Well made Italian ripoff of Friedkin's The Exorcist (1973), this tells the story of a wheelchair-bound young woman who becomes possessed by the devilish spirit of an ancient witch.
A much more sexual possession focus occurs here, with a crazy "Goat Orgy in Hell" sequence involving the Devil's graphic rape of the girl.
Vivid imagery and strong colors work to de Martino's favor and carry the interesting idea to its dramatic climax atop Rome's Coliseum. Good flick.
