Flawed but watchable later Fulci effort restrains the gore and ups the atmosphere, courtesy of dense blue lights. Still...Fulci always delivers a fun ride and here's no exception. Highlights include a death by live snails (the little critters' own revenge for escargot?) and Kim's run through the college finding her boyfriend's corpse behind every door.
